Fox 10 Phoenix Interview Pt. 2
11/2/2023
On Wednesday, November 1st. 2023 I was invited back Down to Fox10Phoenix to talk about the World Series Experience. And this time I also brought my wife, Malaika LeRae with me. We had such an amazing time down at the game. Although we did not win, we appreciated the experience and the tribute "Stand Up To Cancer" was a tear-jerker. It is a labor of love to be able to reach out to people around the world that are inflicted with Cancer. Preventative maintenance is key in beating Cancer. I originally made videos speaking to men over the age of 45 however this is a disease that can also attack children. I'll say it again and again...Preventative maintenance is key. Getting a check up is the only way to determine if this disease is alive within someone. And the sooner the detection, the better the possible outcome. I know that we have lost millions to Cancer throughout history...I pray that 1 day we can find a cure to each and every form of Cancer. But today we must do everything in our power possible to raise awareness to this disease. Again to all my Cancer Warriors please...DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT!!! Fox10Phoenix interview on Halloween 2023

It was such an honor to meet her, to share my story of battling and overcoming Cancer...and to also receive 2 World Series tickets to watch The Arizona Diamondbacks play The Texas Rangers. The whole experience was like a dream. I am Blessed. The Jennifer Hudson Show Interview
10/30/2023
Today the world got to watch me share my story about dealing with and overcoming Cancer. It was such an honor to be selected by the producers of The Jennifer Hudson Show. And she was so pleasant. I also got to share the fact that while I was dealing with my own battle against this terrible disease, I got to share that at the same time, my mother was also dealing with her own health because of Cancer. My Mother passed away 2 years ago to the day that Jennifer Hudson had me on her show and interviewed me. I know that I have a personal angel in Heaven watching over me. I have no other way of explaining it. All praises be to God! I started a Tik-Tok page where I share messages of inspiration and to let people know that 1 of the ways that I dealt with the depression that I experienced is to dress up. I know that is a little bit different for a healing mechanism, but when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you do good. And so @dapper_after_cancer was born. You can follow me here: https://www.tiktok.com/@dapper_after_cancer I pray that my story will help others inflicted with this disease to know that we need them in this world and no matter what....DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT! Cancer Survivor, David...DarkKentPhotography The Wendy Williams Show
3/9/2020
Okay, so I have to take a moment to update my people about the experience on The Wendy Williams show from March 2, 2020. First off, it was my very 1st time to New York. So that made everything even more memorable. I took my wife to the city for her birthday and not only did we receive tickets, but we received VIP tickets which guaranteed us to be seated in the front row. Wendy said she saw my wife as soon as she came out. How cool is that? My wife also got to do the "Ask Wendy" segment of the show. It was very interesting to see the production that takes place during the commercial breaks. From the security to the make-up team to the comedic host that kept the crowd pumped and engaged. Shout Out to everyone on her staff!!! All I can say is that I can't wait for our next appearance! Off Madison Avenue

So once a week for the past few months I have been blessed to be the cameraman for #CrisisTV. A Crisis TV, myself and Brittney CeCe Clark, we go out an interview women who are victims of domestic abuse. These women share their stories with the hope of empowering other victims of domestic abuse to speak out and eventually break free from their abusers. It has been an honor and a blessing to be the cameraman to record such as interviews and I hope that you will enjoy them as well.
CHINA RECAP
4/10/2018
Where do I began with regards to my trip to China...
We had an amazing time from the environment to the people to the sights, plays, statues, artifacts, Chinese culture, etc. We visited a Jade factory, where we were able to view all different sizes, shapes and colors of Jade. We also saw a worker shaping pieces of Jade while we were there. We visited a Silk factory, where we saw the evolution of the silk worm and up to its maturation process at 45 days. We learned of how the silk worm spins into a cocoon. We visited a Tea farm, where we saw a farmer picking the tea leaves one at a time. They have to pick 8000 tea leaves a day. We also tasted authentic Green Tea picked fresh from the farm. We visited a Pearl farm, where we saw how the pearls are picked from Oysters. We saw and counted 31 individual pearls inside of just 1 oyster. We took a Boat Ride along the Jiuzhaigou River, where a scene from Mission Impossible 3 was filmed. We took another Boat Ride along Hungzou River as well as The Qiantang River. We also took a night Boat Ride along the Huangpu River. This was so romantic. The city lights up like Las Vegas, but just along so water. There is so much more to share with the world. I shall have pictures available for metal prints. Xie Xie China! Tempe Instagrammys
1/21/2018
So this past Friday night I was pleased to be nominated for a Tempe Instagrammy. I was nominated for the "Go Outside" award. I'd like to take this time to personally thank The City of Tempe and everyone involved for voting for me. I did win the award. And Malaika screamed her pretty little head off. Needless to say, Friday was a good day.
4th Annual Arizona Hip-Hop Festival
11/13/2017
So this past Saturday I went downtown to Comerica Theatre to support some talent that we have here in Phoenix, Arizona at the 4th Annual Arizona Hip-Hop Festival. Needless to say, the event was LIT!!!
Although I am a little bumbed that I did not get to see some of the acts perform that I specifically set out to see, I was delighted to meet some new talent and to also network. Arizona really showed up and showed out and I can say that I was proud that I was there. |
